Hi, I'm Tom, the maker behind Dark Star Stitches, working from my studio in Oxford.
I make quilted book and tablet sleeves, bookmarks, notebook pen pockets, lanyard pockets, and bags, all cut and sewn by me, in small batches.
It started with a couple of paisley shirts I couldn't bear to throw out, which became the first pieces in my Second Chapter range: made entirely from pre-loved fabric. Everything else comes from deadstock, scrap store finds, and remnants I couldn't walk past.
No factories. No shortcuts. Just careful making, stitch by stitch.

UK orders are dispatched within 2–3 working days and delivered via Royal Mail, usually arriving within 2–4 working days after dispatch.
